You will be part of our design team and work together with people from all over Barkas — from senior designers and strategists to copywriters and concept developers. Your primary tasks will be visual research and conceptual design, as well as day-to-day production.
Interns have always been an integral part of our team and culture, and we try our utmost to find the right level of challenges for your professional and personal development. We will have high expectations of you — and want you to feel the same about us.
Who are we looking for?
You are humble, but ambitious. You like to collaborate and are not afraid to stand your ground if you really believe in something. You want to grow as a designer, but also develop your artistic expression. You are ready to learn and work hard.
- Fluent in English
- Currently studying a relevant design education
- Curious and self-driven
- Basic understanding of design tools
- A deep interest in the fields of design, art, culture and communication
We love when people bring something else to the party — that could be a flair for pottery, an eye for fashion, a background as a chef or another extremely specific or charmingly odd interest. Whatever it is, every person at Barkas is expected to harness their talents, find their unique expression and use it across their work.
We believe in, and support, equal employment opportunities for all applicants regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, mental- or physical disability or age. If you have any specific questions regarding this. Please reach out.
