SYD FOR SOLEN — which translates to “South of the Sun” — is a three-day music festival in Copenhagen, dedicated to showcasing international acts. Founded on the idea of broadening perspectives and bringing world-class artists to the city, it stands as Copenhagen’s most artistically ambitious festival. Each day is curated around a distinct musical genre, designed to attract diverse audiences and create three unique atmospheres.
We were involved in every stage of the process—from the initial concept to positioning, naming, and crafting both the verbal and visual identity. As the name suggests, “South of the Sun” evokes a dreamlike, poetic space where music, sunlight, and togetherness merge for three days. Our goal was to shape an identity that feels vibrant, inviting and colourful, capturing the essence of a festival that celebrates artistic quality and good vibes.
